How much time does an F-1 student visa need to be issued if you already have the I-20?
I am not applying to a college .
I'm a sophomore applying to a summer program in the states which is around 7 weeks. And i need an f-1 student visa to attend.
I have already gotten accepted and im waiting for my I-20.
A-Best: Ask them at the US Embassy.
The time varies on all Visas, it usually depends on how busy they are at the time.
I've known visas to arrive as quickly as a few days and also to have taken up to 10 days!
Call them and ask if you are concerned, you may be able to get a priority put on it.
